The university contributes to the project in two ways: matchmaking and gap funding.

Matchmaking activity is aimed at building a simple, efficient system to establish cooperation between existing cleantech companies and the university's researchers in the field. This system will be developed in cooperation with Risø DTU and Scion DTU.

Gap funding activity is directed towards the maturation of new research projects relevant to cleantech at the University of Copenhagen so that they can become commercially viable and form either part of existing companies or provide the basis for new start-up companies. This activity will be implemented in cooperation with Risø DTU.
