Four interesting and enlightening workshops on Smart Cities are
being held in collaboration between DTU, DI and CCC. Each workshop
will emphasize certain issues concerning city development and Smart
Cities.
The four themes are energy and water, waste and transport, city
life and construction and lastly but not least, food and industry.
Accordingly, every workshop will focus on two specific issues with
high relevance for Smart Cities.
This month's workshop, on city life and construction, will include
short, yet, inspiring presentations on the two subjects. The
presentations will be followed by a number of workshops, where the
participants will have the opportunity to engage in and discuss
some of the problems they are facing as well as future challenges,
and share their ideas and solutions. Participants will thus be able
to discuss and explain their specific solutions to these problems
and their roles as future actors of Smart Cities.
The purpose of the workshop is to inform and bring attention to
issues facing our cities and discuss solutions to make our current
and future cities into Smart Cities. Additionally, there will be
plenty of opportunities to network with other actors, scientists,
companies and governmental institutions, interested in these
issues.
