Kick-off for Green Labs DK

Applications for Green Labs are now open for all types of climate technologies that can help make Denmark independent of fossil fuels. Green Labs DK Secretariat expects to make a commitment of DKK 130 million in this first round.

The first applications for the grants programme "Green Labs DK" are now underway. The programme provides grants for the creation of new facilities for test and demonstration of climate technologies in an international league and is one of the flagships of the Business Climate Strategy. In total, DKK 210 million has been set aside for the programme over the next three years.

- There is a great demand for the funds. The sheer volume of promising proposal has been overwhelming. Green Labs DK is to contribute to the Government's objective to become independent of fossil fuels and must also contribute to Denmark being able to stay ahead in the green race of the future, climate and energy minister Lykke Friis says, and encourages all those involved in various technology fields to come together and develop powerful applications.

- Applicants must demonstrate that they can bring together research, education and test and demonstration facilities in state of the art centres, so that in the future, the name is a guarantor for world class test and demonstration facilities, the minister states.

You can apply for grants for all types of climate technologies that can help make Denmark independent of fossil fuels. First and foremost, this means projects on energy efficiency and use of SE technologies.
