There are 60 smart grid companies in Denmark, and Denmark is a
leader when it comes to testing and demonstration of smart grid
technologies. But it will require investments of DKK 9.8 billion
over the next 10 years to develop a truly "intelligent" smart grid
network. In return, this will provide at least 10,000 new jobs to
highly trained employees.
