New CCC initiative: Complex Cleantech Solutions

A new initiative invites Danish cleantech companies to co-develop innovative projects in order to meet the growing global demand for 'systemic' cleantech such as waste treatment, smart grid and water treatment. 

All over the world, cities are embarking on a more sustainable path, some because they are facing vast environmental challenges due to climate change and population growth, others because they want to set new standards and raise the bar for ambitious goals for sustainable development and CO2 reductions. 

Sustainable city development is a global megatrend, and cutting edge solutions are in high demand. With support from The Danish Industry Foundation, Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster will soon launch the initiative 'Complex Cleantech Solutions' with the aim of meeting this global demand.

Denmark’s green alliance with South Korea pays off

From now on Danish companies can apply to participate in a South Korean research programme for green technology. By 2012 the programme will have a value of DKK 12 billion. The agreement was reached during today’s visit to South Korea by the Minister for Climate and Energy, Lykke Friis.
