Energy Week
Time:
18 June 2012 - 22 June 2012
Venue:
Brussels, Belgium
The EU Sustainable Energy Week(EUSEW 2012) is a week dedicated to showcase activities in energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions.

The Energy Week aims at spreading ideas, innovations and best practices and thereby form an alliance across Europe in order to reach EU's aspiring energy and climate goals.
During the week Brussels will be host to a tightly packed programme of high-levels debates, conferences and exhibitions. A 3-day conference, organized by the European Commission and other bodies, will bring together industry representatives, scientists and decision-makers offering a great network opportunity.

Anyone can get involved by organizing or attending an event.

Concurrently, schools, associations, companies and public authorities across Europe will celebrate their own Energy Days. This will all form a bigger picture of multiple individuals, all working to motivate change  in energy and climate through numerous events. Last year, no less than 720 events took place in 43 countries during EU Sustainable Energy Week.

Another highlight of the week is the Sustainable Energy Europe Awards ceremony, an impressive event in Brussels which recognises the best and brightest projects of the past year. The 2011 ceremony presented awards to six projects out of more than 300 that entered the competition.
