The Confederation of Danish Industry is a private organisation currently funded, owned and managed entirely by 11,000 companies within the manufacturing, trade and service industries. It aims to provide the best possible working conditions for Danish industry.
Through market analyses, fact finding tours and joint participation in conferences and exhibitions around the world, you will be able to strengthen your business opportunities and knowledge of international markets and identify new, international partners. The services offered will be available to all stakeholders connected to any of the Danish regional or thematic cleantech clusters.
Comprehensive knowledge of international markets constitutes the backbone of our activities. Through round-table discussions, seminars and conferences, we work to build a high level of shared knowledge of international markets, global environmental needs and on-the-ground experience. Further, we provide information about Danish as well as international support programmes and services.
We carry out market analyses and assessments of international competitors in order to put energy and environmental needs, local investment programmes, potential partnerships and demonstration programmes into perspective.
We offer fact finding tours to selected markets. The tours are planned in cooperation with local governments and business associations, as well as the local offices and partners of the Confederation of Danish Industry. The tours are based on the findings of the market analyses.
Whenever possible, the fact finding tours will be organised in connection with relevant conferences, exhibitions and other key cleantech-related events around the world. Matchmaking platforms will have our particular attention.
During the fact finding tours, the possibilities of establishing international partnerships are explored. The tours may include facilitated discussions on selected issues involving professionals from Danish as well as local organisations in order to build mutual trust, shared knowledge and understanding of the competencies available for future cooperation.
The Confederation of Danish Industry is responsible for all Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster market related activities. The Confederation has several years of extensive experience in this field and cooperates with local business associations in many countries. This makes it possible to help build institutions that can act as intermediaries between private business and government.
A well functioning dialogue between the private sector and government is a prerequisite for bringing attention to growth constraints and thus ensuring that the necessary information for creating an enabling business environment is available to all stakeholders. Further, local business associations may provide substantial knowledge about local conditions as well as offer a broad range of contact points.
