DHI has a national as well as global network for companies, industries, university partners, authorities, organisations, cleantech investors etc. through its 25 offices all over the world.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship - Facilitating new cleantech spin-off ventures

The combination of complementary competencies and resources from different companies and institutions is an efficient and viable way to establish new spin-off cleantech companies and has great potential in the region. As each partner often does not have all of the required competencies in-house, DHI facilitates matchmaking between companies and catalyses spin-offs. Specific activities to support spin-off ventures are:

• Establishment of a virtual marketplace on a SharePoint IT platform,
• Supporting the start-up of cleantech venture spin-offs through:
• idea and concept development workshops
• establishing an evaluation panel of cleantech experts
• interim project management in the incubation phase

• Mapping of start-ups and spin-offs within cleantech (an entrepreneurship barometer)
