The organization is financed by Frederikssund Municipality and by membership fees from companies in the municipality. This means that it in practice is a public-private cooperation, where the challenges and wishes of the companies are in focus.

Copenhagen Clean-Tech Park - An innovative business estate

Copenhagen Clean-Tech Park is part of one of the largest city and business development projects in Denmark. The estate of about 350 ha, expected to hold 6,000 workplaces and 6,000 homes, will be developed with world class physical as well as a knowledge infrastructure and in such a way that the synergies of the Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster are fully utilized - in particular with the aim of making the area even more attractive for highly qualified staff.

The idea is that the estate is going to serve as a display window of products and to create a full-scale world exhibition of clean-tech technologies.

An Advisory Board is set up to handle climate and environmental issues. Here the brightest brains of the clean-tech energy supply in Denmark meet as an advisory organ for the development of the business estate. The board will be focusing on the integration of the energy supply system in a building block system which is to be developed continuously.

Also, a financial laboratory is established, working with new, innovative financial solutions and testing them in practice.
