Financing of CCC

Behind the Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster project are 25 public and private sector players who are providing the financing.

Among them are several leading companies including Haldor Topsøe, DONG, Novozymes, Vestas and Siemens, as well as 13 network participants. The project involves the three Zealand climate municipalities and two capital region councils.

Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster has a five-year budget totalling DKK 162 million, of which the partners are providing DKK 40.5 million. The Growth Forum for the Zealand Region and the Growth Forum for the Capital Region of Denmark have matched this with a further DKK 40.5 million, equal to 25 per cent of the financing for the project, and application has been made to the EU's Regional Fund to cover the remaining 50 per cent of the financing.
